In 2019 through our research, we realized that there was no one marketing program to promote our regions wonderful wineries, artists, fresh producers and craftsman. Further research commenced and discussions with the well know #OtwayHarvesttrail that has been in operation for over 10 years with 150 farm-gates across 3 shires. The founding committee was so generous with their time and idea’s and we are eternally grateful.

An initial grant from Pacific Hydro from their Crowlands Wind Farm started the ball rolling.

We believe that the Farm Gate project will benefit the entire shire community and it is needed to help our community survive and thrive at these challenging COVID times and for many years to come.
